Most recently, Dr. Leet founded The Commonwealth Preventative Medicine Institute – an organization offering a unique and comprehensive approach for people interested in optimizing their health and longevity. Dr. Leet felt compelled to help others avoid what he experienced and encountered with his own heart attack. The Commonwealth Preventative Medicine Institute focuses on lifestyle changes and gaining control over their cardiovascular health.

About Dr. Leet
Dr. Leet began private practice upon graduation in 1977, serving the local communities of Prince William and Fauquier counties, with offices now in Warrenton, Gainesville and Manassas.

Dr. Leet has served on many committees including Peer Review, Critical Care, Cardiac Rehab Services, Cardiology Division and has been medical director for the Cardiac Services Department for many years. He is active in the Prince William County Free Clinic and continues to volunteer his time there and serves on the board of directors.

He has also been recognized many times by his peers in the Washingtonian Magazine as one of the areas “Top Doctors” 1999, 2002, 2005 and 2008, as well as the Northern Virginia Magazine’s “Best Doctors 2007”.

Dr. Leet is active in the local Chamber of Commerce and is director of the Wellness Committee, as well as the board of the American Heart Association Heart Ball. He is also on the board of directors of the Center for the Arts in Manassas and is a contributor to CASA, Prince William Free Clinic and the Hylton Performing Arts Center. Dr. Leet is married and enjoys astronomy, gardening, music and travel.
