About Dr. Maranian
Dr. Maranian served at Wilford Hall directing the pacemaker and lipid clinics, as well as training fellows in cardiac catheterization and pacemaker implantation. He deployed twice to Iraq, in 2003, and in 2006 as a critical care air transport team physician.

Dr. Maranian separated from the Air Force to join Prince William Cardiology Associates in 2007 after fourteen years of service. He has received many awards and honors including the Meritorious Service Medal, Aerial Achievement Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Force Achievement Medal and Iraq Campaign Medal. He also serves on the Cardiac Catheterization Planning Committee at Prince William Hospital and is the current chairman of the Department of Medicine at Fauquier Hospital. Dr. Maranian has also been chosen by his peers as one of Washingtonian’s 2012 and 2013 Top Doctors!

Dr. Maranian and his wife, Robin, have four children – Elizabeth, Peter, Julia, and Matthew. His interests include Boston sports teams, dumb movies and history.
